Multi-component composite materials and cold welding
Devcon’s metal-filled epoxy systems enable economical and fast repair on various metal surfaces such as steel, aluminum or bronze. These materials can replace traditional welding processes and are suitable for repairing and refurbishing worn shafts, pumps, and impellers, for example. The products cure at room temperature and have excellent chemical resistance.
Internal coatings
The brand offers wear-resistant and chemical-resistant coatings to protect pumps, tanks, heat exchangers and other equipment. Ceramic-filled epoxy coatings protect surfaces from corrosion, erosion and abrasive effects, even at high temperatures. Devcon DFense Blok™ technology provides excellent protection against dynamic, impact-related abrasive effects thanks to ceramic spheres.
Concrete coatings and repair
Devcon floor repair systems are easy to apply and provide high strength and excellent chemical and water resistance. They are suitable for repairing and protecting concrete surfaces even in areas where the surface is subjected to chemicals (e.g. methanol) and heavy traffic. Ultraquartz™ is a concrete repair and coating system with high chemical and wear resistance , while Floor Patch™ is a high compressive strength, multi-purpose concrete repair paste.
Rubber repair
The flexible urethane-based Flexane® products are suitable for repairing rubber components, belts and conveyor belts. Available in both liquid and paste form, they bond to rubber, metal, concrete and many other materials. R-Flex® is a self-leveling urethane system specifically developed for repairing tears and holes in conveyor belts.
Bonding
Devcon offers epoxy and methacrylate-based adhesives for a wide range of industrial bonding applications. These adhesives create strong and durable bonds on metals, ceramics, plastics and composite materials while providing excellent chemical resistance.
